Dear Members and Guests,
On behalf of the entire staff, I would like to welcome you to Minton’s Sportsplex, Texarkana’s largest family oriented health, fitness and sports complex. Our intention is to make your fitness experience a very positive one and to help you achieve all of your goals. I want to personally thank you for giving us this opportunity.
To better acquaint you with who we are and what our mission is, I’d like to give you a little background about our facility. Minton’s Sportsplex started as a small fitness only center on Richmond Road and Interstate 30. Since then, we have expanded numerous times and relocated to our current location of 5610 Richmond Rd. Today, we have more than 70,000 sq. ft. of facilities and over 120 employees that are ready to meet our member’s individual needs.
Our physical facility is the most comprehensive of its kind in the Ark-La-Tex. We boast a world class 16,000 sq. ft. adult fitness center equipped with the most state of the art fitness equipment such as Pre-core, Nautilus, Free Motion, True, Body Masters, Paramount, Hammer Strength and more.
Our family recreation center is second to none. This 15,000 sq. ft. family recreation center includes indoor basketball and volleyball courts, four story contained play structure, arcade, youth fitness, redemption and concession areas.
Last but not least, we have a 40,000 sq. ft. aquatics and sports complex. This includes a 25 yard lap pool, themed water park style recreational pool, beach volleyball courts, basketball courts, inline hockey arena, pavilion and more.
It’s because of all this that we have received the Four States Living Magazine Award for Texarkana’s best exercise facility for 2005, 2006 and 2007. In addition to all of our fabulous facilities, it’s our staff that separates us from all the others. Our highly educated staff are here to assist you in having a pleasant and enjoyable experience at the Sportsplex, regardless of age and goals.
