Amy Cornish

Youth Program Director
Hello. My name is Amy Cornish, and I have had the privilege of working at Minton’s Sportsplex for 12 years and I have been the youth program director for 9 years. I enjoy working with children and have an Associates Degree in Child Development. During the last couple of years, our program has been nationally recognized. Minton’s after school & summer care have been featured in CBI and Time magazine.
I’m also a board member on the Healthy Family Committee. This committee is designed to work with families who have children who are overweight and need assistance.
My husband, Calvin and I have two children, Mason and Avery. They have enjoyed growing up here at the Sportsplex. As a parent myself, I can’t stress enough the value of quality entertainment & fun the entire family can enjoy. We believe in our mission “Creating Healthy habits to last a lifetime.
The term kid’s sports, is how we identify all the kid’s programs we have here at Minton’s. Activity highlights are: Summer sports camp, basketball, swimming, water safety, softball, karate, intro to golf and cheer, cooperative games, parachute play, relay races, and more. Our program is designed with the primary focus on physical activity.
