The primary focus of the after school program is the development and growth of young children, guiding them emotionally, socially, and physically. The Sportsplex strives to offer excellence in all areas by providing children with the nurturing environment needed to develop into unique individuals. The After School program accepts kids from ages 5 to 12 years old.

Transportation is provided from area schools and brings them safely to our facility. We will provide them with the most unique daycare experience in the Ark-La-Tex. After a nutritious snack they receive help with their homework. Our facility features an indoor play structure and video arcade. Also, we have a recreation area designed for activities such as indoor basketball and volleyball, yoga, dance, and aerobics. Outdoors the children receive supervised training in basketball, volleyball, and soccer to name a few. The outdoor swimming pools offer summer time swimming.

Minton’s national award winning program of after school care provides a safe, happy, healthy environment where your child can relax, recharge and learn after the school day is over. While encouraging healthy, active lifestyles, through improving motor skills, flexibility and strength, our after school program goes beyond physical wellbeing. It Promotes team work, positive self image and communication, in a child’s life. Along with fun, fitness and friends, after school participants will enjoy a healthy snack to keep up their focus and energy, and if they need it, they can get extra help with their homework, too.
